It is with great excitement for the future of the Stark County Republican Party that we are writing to you. 

     We would like to thank Dave Renkert for his leadership as coordinator of the Early Bird program for the past several years.  To those who have supported the Early Bird program, we thank you for your generosity.  For those of you who have not yet participated in the Early Bird program, we respectfully ask you to consider a contribution this year. 

     The Early Bird program is the primary funding method for the operations of the SCRP.  In order to continue the tremendous success we experienced in November 2010, it takes dedication and financial capital. 

     Republicans won seats that had been controlled by the Democrats for decades with the hard work of our volunteers, candidates and importantly, with your generous financial contributions to the SCRP. Republicans now hold the offices of Stark County Auditor, Treasurer, and Commissioner.  State wide, Republicans hold every major office — key to Congressional redistricting.  We were able to take back the Congressional seat held for decades by Ralph Regula with the election of Jim Renacci. 

     In order to continue this success, we need your financial support.  Depending on the election cycle, funding the operations of the SCRP can cost in excess of $150,000 annually.  Beyond that, every penny raised goes to support candidates. 

     Early Bird contributors have always received complimentary tickets to various events.  In keeping with this practice, Early Birds will be given two tickets to both the Chairman’s Holiday Party and the McKinley Dinner.  We also plan on having one or two Early Bird receptions with candidates / officeholders. These events will be more intimate, and will hopefully provide you with an update and an opportunity to ask questions of personal interest.

     Included with this letter is a response card outlining the various Early Bird categories.  The SCRP is happy to take semi-annual contributions to satisfy your commitment.  We appreciate your support and dedication.  With your help, we look forward to a successful 2011 and a momentous 2012 Presidential election.

     Kindly renew your participation, and consider increasing your commitment from years past.
